Fraud - For sending cryptocurrency No use of such content as in the blackmail letter. 100% a generally created email and distributed (randomly) across the masses. The user is blackmailed into making a payment to the specified account, otherwise content is posted on the web and forwarded to contacts. The PC was allegedly hacked via a known email. No leak can be found in the databases. Randomized mass mail is suspected as blackmail.

USUALL BLACKMAIL SEXTORTION EMAIL

I received an email with the standard sextortion nonsense claiming they had video of me masturbating, hilarious they made note of the particularly raunchy variation of porn I like to watch. This bit made me laugh as I watch exceptionally boring porn so I knew they were lying haha. Overall the email felt exceptionally generic and not targetted at all, I think this one is more of a phishing email to some degree, it's clearly not well thought out, they reference my company a lot but that proves nothing as all the info they provided is public anyway. They wanted 1750 USD to not upload the video 48 from now. They can sit and fucking swivel, they could release a video of me wanking if they really want, they still won't get the money haha! Fortunately the video does not exist and this person is clearly just a scammer.

The usual scam pretending they have recorded me porn surfing and then threaten to expose unless I pay!
