Convinced me I was paying first months rent and a damage deposit for a house. Had plenty of pictures and we talked on the phone and he sounded legit. Ended up sending him $2500CAD worth of crypto using Shakepay. He then posed as a Shakepay customer service representative and said that the transaction was blocked and I had to deposit the same amount again to receive my coins back. I had fully realized it was a scam at this point and made no further deposits.
