Hello, back in September, I was scammed out of $1000 from Jose Luis Salcedo from a Craigslist listing and he advised that he was using Airbnb services. This was for a rental 1445 Fruitdale Ave San Jose, CA 95128 / 1 bed 1 bath 723 sqft. Before I could move in or tour the property I had to pay the invoice to Airbnb using the payment instructions in which I was directed to pay $1000 per a Bitcoin ATM. Once I paid the $1000 he completely disappeared and I was unable to locate him at all. He advised prior that he was located in Spain and would come to San Jose for the completion of the documentation process if I was still interested once Airbnb showed me his property. That did not ever happen. Airbnb did not have a listing of this property. Please advise what can be done to rectify this. Best Regards
