I saw the individual on an online forum called cracked.to where he was advertising gaming services. He advertised a link to his private server on Discord, where I joined and enquires about his services. I previously paid him on paypal for a legal method on how to get Xbox games cheaper than usual at discounted prices, which he sent to me with no problems. Next, on March 31, 2021 he advertised that he would be sending money/paying by PayPal for individuals who can sell him Bitcoin. He instructed me to purchase Bitcoin directly from a website called Ramp Swaps https://ramp.network/buy/ which I did and sent $1917 CAD worth of bitcoins to his Bitcoin address. After the payment came through he proceeded to block me from his discord server and hide the service ticket I had opened so I wouldn’t have proof of his scam.
