MIcrosoft popup scam. Scammer said computer was infected and to save my bank account by transferring it to BTC and give them the BTC address. Sent a picture of the receipt to scammers and they drained the BTC wallet. Not sure how they drained it without the private key.

MEXC seized assets from user. Stated profits were made abnormally but provided no proof. I have done nothing wrong and lost $40,0000 because of baseless allegations.

Individuals are working together on a game called Old school runescape to scam people by identity fraud and posing as a well-known creator on the game. They request and make demands for the money to be sent via BTC or in game in which they promise items in return though never happens. There is around 5 of them if not more scamming people out of their money.

Through the recent C3rb3r ransomware on a confluence vulnerability, the server was compromised encrypting confluence related files. The contact in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQFPFPqYdrg when contacted was able to decrypt a file and requested payment to sell his decryptor. Obviously being able to decrypt the file, the contact is the scammer.

Our customer is a victim of a computer hack and impersonation scam by someone impersonating Geek Squad. We alerted this customer yesterday that he is in the middle of a scam - which he did not believe. We did not execute his last transaction attempt of $245,000. We received his wire transfer - I requested the Account Manager to call him to make sure he is ok and is not being scammed. The call revealed key indicators that he was in fact in the middle of an impersonation scam. He has lost $237,000 by purchasing BTC, ETH and USDC. These victims are being told the 'hackers' have access to all of their financial accounts and they need to purchase crypto to secure their assets. We even assisted this customer in helping him create his own wallet which the hackers then gained access and stole his BTC, ETH and USDC. This particular victim is located in Dallas, TX. I offered to meet him in person with his sons present. Awaiting confirmation now.
