An extortionist is sending individual emails to data breach victims in Finland. The allegedly 40.000 victims are, or were, patients at psychotherapy centre Vastaamo. The recipients are asked to pay 200 euros in Bitcoins within 24 hours, or if they dont meet that deadline, 500 euros in Bitcoins within 48 hours. Otherwise their personal data and psychotherapy patient records will be published online, writes the extortionist.
