This is a followup to a similar report filed here on March 25, 2021. This time, under eBay handle princess11-2013 from Toowoomba, Queensland Australia, this user was selling a Goldshell KD5 and an Antminer at auction on eBay. Very little info in description, but claimed he had additional miners that he could sell. I contacted him, and he claimed he could sell me 3 new Goldshell KD5 miners for .38 BTC and would also pay for shipping to the US, which is a ridiculously low price. I pressed him for additional information and he sent me a photo of a drivers license with the name Harry Nedel from 12 Marchant Ave in Reservoir, Victoria AU which is about 1500 km away from Toowoomba. He also sent an email address of harry.ned1974@protonmail.com and a Whattsapp number of +61480049054. When I did a Google search on him, I found the report filed here on March 25, 2021 with many similarities. I reported the account to eBay, and almost instantly the items were removed and they sent a message to me saying that the account had been hijacked and restored to the original owner.

Ebay scammer failed to get anyone to send BTC to this address (at least no transactions as of 3/25/2021). Claimed to have a solar panel miner farm and is selling excess miners. Used miner pics obtained from the Internet, always check for this via reverse image search on Google. _x000D_ Once questioned, he provided a likely forged or stolen Victoria, Australia drivers license with the name Harry Nedel in Reservoir, VIC 3073 (probably a fake name). It appears he spliced in the name and address. Address on drivers license had solar panels when checked via Google Maps (he expected address to be checked). Used the email address harry.eth@protonmail.com that is a near match to a Twitter handle used by a legitimate security researcher (not a coincidence) that writes about crypto fraud LOL. Protonmail is a favorite email provider among scammers that helps conceal their IP address. His or her Ebay feedback including one positive feedback saying he offered a BTC payment discount, obviously he created a fake auction (bidded on it himself or had a friend) and just paid the fees in order to create fraudulent feedback to further the scam. Also offered to accept 1/2 of BTC payment now and the other 1/2 upon receiving the miners. As BTC prices dropped dramatically he did not adjust the price. _x000D_ _x000D_ Another report here shows he used BTC address: 12AcN6ehQmG8FttSFDgJKWeEm9YBzNrgEe_x000D_ _x000D_ Once auctions were deleted by Ebay his username changed from nakamoto314 to tomce12miners and Ebay notified those that communicated with him via a message. I do not believe the Ebay reason given is correct This account was recently found to have been accessed by an unauthorized third party, who may have used the account in an attempt to defraud other members. since this user has been scamming people since at least January 2021. I have no evidence the scammer is even in Australia except the mentioned drivers license and Ebay report his location as bundoora, Victoria, Australia.
