Using a real password stolen from a website hack, sometimes from my own email. Claiming sexual pictures etc aquired by a trojan on my computer. Ignore claims! TIP: Ensure you never use that password again or even better, use a password manager to have complex unique passwords for each account you make.

Received a similar email from a spoof email pretending to be me about a month ago, yesterday I got the same email but in french, but it was actually sent from my gmail account. I found the email in my sent folder (even after changing my password twice since the initial hoax email). Claiming they have a video of me on an adult site, asking for bitcoin, threatening to send it to all my contacts. Although I know theres no way they could have such a video, I am uneasy about the fact that it was actually sent from my email this time. _x000D_ The email is a university email address accessed through gmail.

Wants 390 euros in bitcoin otherwise video from a non-existent webcam will get revealed. Id be more worried if only I could read French, which appears to be the language in this email. Oh well.
