Standard issue scam of someone attempting to blackmail by stating they hacked into your email account and have been spying on you and collecting incriminating data. To make it seem legitimate they state a password used years ago that was leaked during a database breach for another website.

Tried to scam me using my email stating 'Approximately few months ago I have gained access to your devices, which you use for internet browsing. After that, I have started tracking your internet activities.Some time ago I hacked you and got access to your email accounts.' Wanted me to then send $400 worth of bitcoin to protect my privacy

Sent me an email (marked spam) telling me that they had access of all my systems and installed a trojan onto my pc drivers. Telling me that i needed to pay $400 to this bitcoin address or they would release a video of my masturbating to porn witch is funny because i dont even have a webcam

Got a spoof email saying that this person has hacked into my email and PC and was watching my every move online. Wanted me to send them $400 and not to contact police. They got my password wrong for a start and tried to say I liked porn which is the biggest pile of crap.

Scammer spoofed emailed me saying he has hacked my account and gained access to my browser history and photos,videos, etc. They claimed they knew what my password was and listed it (it was wrong btw) and threatened to share all my photos, pictures etc to the world if I didn't send bitcoin to this address. The scammer said they had been watching me and my accounts for months. The scammer also said they had installed some type of trojan virus on my pc and phone and would activate this if I didn't send the crypto. \r\n\r\nBe careful everyone! Stay vigilant!

Basically said they found my email and password and that they’ve hacked into everything by using remote access software and that they’d release videos of me doing dirty acts that they caught on camera but jokes on them all of my cameras are covered
