Just a cringy email talking about RATing my PC and watching me through my webcam and viewing what websites I look at.

They seem to have been successful with some people already, stay vigilant.

Got an email from an address with a stolen domain (@intuit.com) from an individual demanding $400 else they will publish a "video of me satisfying myself" using their "Sophisticated, RAT tool" they "installed" on my machine.

The scam turned up on my personal email account. The email address of the sender was quickbooks@notification.intuit.com and the recipient address was coinbase@pro.space. However, the recipient address was not the address of my personall email.

It's is obvious from the provided image that the scammer is sending out sextortion/fake hacking notifications.

Know you password RAT scam, allegedly going to leak videos of victim watching porn if they don't send bitcoin to their address. Wallet online already has 7 transfers of ~$400 each to their address (total $2800). Don't know any of them and have not sent any money myself.

Received email to email account I only use for baiting advanced fee scammers.

Please note that I have not fallen for this scam - I'm only seeking to notify in the hope that the address involved is flagged as malicious. This email was provided by Intuit to bypass filtering, and sent to what is probably a disposable domain, simply to forward the email without relevant headers. All transactions were to the effect of 400 dollars according to the address used in the accompanying screenshot, and so far in the past 5 days, it has accrued about 2,500 USD. I've seen this kind of garbage before, sent to people I know, but this is the first time someone's tried spearfishing my email for it, so I'm both amused and worried for the others that may not be as lucky, realizing the phishing nature of it.

I was indeed infected with the rat when I opened a .exe that I thought was a .pdf file that was not represented correctly by Windows. I've since formatted & reinstalled the OS on my pc and changed passwords for all of my accounts and inspected my accounts activity, just to be sure, and I think I'm fine. He claims that he has video content of myself but I have no webcam. The only visible effect ( till now ), apart of the email in the screenshot, is that after about an hour of the infection he sent messages on discord to donate in that BTC wallet. I personally don't have a crypto account of any kind and I will not pay the extortion.
